Before you write
What's your typical engagement size? +
We work in three windows: end-to-end product builds (12鈥?4 weeks), embedded squad engagements (2鈥?2 months), and long-term stewardship retainers. We rarely take projects under 4 weeks because the craft we invest takes time to mature.
Do you sign NDAs before initial conversations? +
For the first reply, no. We keep early conversations under Chatham House Rule. Once we're moving toward a signed SOW, we'll happily countersign your mutual NDA 鈥?just send it along.
Which platforms do you ship to? +
Native-first across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, Android, Wear OS, and the Web (when needed). We don't ship React Native or Flutter wrappers 鈥?every product is engineered to feel native on its target surface.
Do you take equity in lieu of cash? +
Occasionally, for early-stage products with strong founder fit and a clear path to revenue. We don't invest; we exchange craft for ownership. If this sounds like you, mention it in the brief.
Where is the team located? +
Our studio operates from the Virginia Innovation Center, USA. We work distributed across multiple time zones for embedded engagements but always with at least 4 hours of US-ET overlap.
